Lobo’s paintings are known for the vibrant and cheerful colors.
His inspiration came from the time and the daily learning experiences. Lobo believes the colorful Brazil gave the tone to his Pop Art style.
Early in his career his inspiration was the New Wave bands such as like The B-52s, David Bowie, Sig Sig Sputnik and The Cure.
Today, his Pop Art tells about the life story of each customer, illustrated with emotion and major cities of the World landmarks.
“Beyond being a piece of decoration, my art shows the individual personality. So each piece has a different inspiration. It is a pleasure to provide a unique work piece and tell a little of the people’s history, and they tell a little of mine.”
His main objective is to bring to the home customers, work pieces that can be part of their history and make them appreciate more the handmade artwork.
