1973, Sao Paulo,
BrazilOwner of a peculiar and full of personality style, Lobo is an artist considered a Pop Art benchmark, in Brazil and in the world.
His inspiration comes from the new wave generation, represented by The B-52s, David Bowie, Sig Sig Sputnik, among others. The image of Robert Smith (The Cure) painted on his first art work, is the main proof that music, even if indirectly, was a strong influence early in his career. And the pop culture was voraciously assimilated by him through other artists work, such as Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Peter Max and Pollock.
His art, of outstanding features and vibrant colors, seeks to portray the people story, carefully applied in up to 10 color ink layers. Admired in other continents, Lobo has his paintings in several countries besides Brazil, like United States, Germany, Holland, France, Spain, Mexico, Australia, Italy and Switzerlan.
Definitively present in the art world, Lobo had an art exhibition held by the Rolling Stones magazine, accompanied the brazilian pop rock band Jota Quest on tour and has his exclusive pieces in private art collections around the world. His work has been requested by companies such as Heineken, C&A, Brasil Kirin, Procter & Gamble, Grupo RBS, Bauducco, FAV 105, Rolling Stone Magazine and Kohlhase & Kopp (Germany), incorporating his art on special projects, adding value and giving more visibility to these brands.
